The CMO Curtain (A Poem)
I am submitting my poem for publication which highlights the importance of nursing care for patients at end of life. I am often disheartened when I hear other nurses dismissing care to a patient because they have chosen comfort measures only, CMO. I have been a nurse for 15 years and have specialized in hospice and palliative care since 2012. I became certified in the specialty in 2015.
